Quality Produce Fresh From The Land
New Farm Produce Ltd is specialising in growing premium quality berries, cherries, and asparagus. With over 40 years of growing experience, we are proud of our quality produce and the passion, innovation and dedication of the people that grow it.
We are a member of the grower cooperative Berry Gardens Growers, through which we market our fruit and have exclusive access to Driscolls varieties. Our quality produce can be found in major British supermarkets including Sainsbury's, Morrison's, Aldi, Lidl, and Asda. We also supply local businesses and operate our own self-service facility at our farm.

Our Environment
Looking after our environment is a priority. We invest in renewable energy, water conservation and protecting biodiversity. We share our crops with beneficial wildlife, and our field boundaries are sown with grass mixes to enhance the natural ecosystem.
Peat-free-substrate
Most of our plants are grown in peat-free-substrate. We use coir – a by-product of the coconut industry. After several crops it is composted and recycled to improve soil structure on our fields.
Biological Control
Our crop ecosystem relies on beneficial insects which stop pests getting out of control. We encourage native species of insects like hover flies and ladybirds that eat damaging crop pests. We use friendly predators to control pests. Biocontrol also makes use of 'good' fungi to destroy moulds like mildew. This approach enables us to reduce or eliminate chemical sprays.
LEAF Marque
As a member of LEAF, we use the LEAF Marque to certify our environmental practices. They are based on the LEAF framework, so we have management plans for water, waste, energy, soils, crop protection, biodiversity and landscape.
Considering our planet
In every aspect of our business, we consider how we can be actively green and as efficient as possible. We not only look after farm biodiversity, but we must also tackle climate change, food waste and plastic pollution.
Plastic Recycling
Where possible plastic waste is recycled and most of it is second use. All our punnets are made from recycled PET - which is itself recyclable. Our tunnel covers are used for several crops and then recycled into other items. We also consider recyclability whenever we purchase anything.
